The weeks are just flying by now and it's hard to believe that Christmas is only 12 weeks away! I must pull my finger out and get some more cards made, but with my summer holiday only a week away, its hard to concentrate on Christmas.

Entries 7&8 for this months Sketch Challenge have arrived from Jeanette. I'm loving the beach huts, nothing to do with the fact it's only a week until my holiday!! (did I mention that already!! :-) )

Don't forget to keep voting on the blog, facebook or in store. I've had a few comments from customers in the shop, but I'm keeping them secret so that the winner will be a total surprise.....so mean I know!

There's still time for you to submit an entry, remember the last submission date is Sunday. I will then close voting on Friday 5th October (day before my holiday) and announce the winner before I jet off!

It's all so quiet...

This week I am back in the shop on my own. Niamh is back at school and Peppa is back at work, so it's very very quiet!!

Before Peppa went back to work, she had just enough time to submit her entry for Sketch Challenge #2:

I have made my design based on Sketch Challenge #2 just to give you a bit of inspiration....

So I'm a little behind schedule.....again!....

I know I promised to have the second sketch challenge ready for 1st September, but I've just been sooooo busy, I lost track of time. Here is the design to follow this month (I will post my card soon.....just have to make it first!!)

Sketch Challenge #2

Seem as we are entering the beginning of an Indian Summer, I will be generous and let you choose any theme for this challenge, BUT....I would like to see bold, bright colours to make everybody smile!!

This month to go with our bold & bright theme I have 3 packs of Button Company Spotty, Stripy & Gingham Buttons up for grabs.
